When Jeremias Ramos was in college, he had three career paths in mind. He could be an English major with aspirations of becoming a journalist or an English teacher. He could study psychology and become a doctor without having to see any blood! Or, he could be an accountant, and spend his adult life wearing snazzy suits and leveraging his math expertise.
Jeremias is a second-generation Puerto Rican and was the first in his family to go to college. Now as a business and tax consultant working at Withum Smith & Brown, a nationally recognized full-service accounting, tax, and consulting firm, Jeremias proves that New York City is truly where dreams are made.
While consulting within real estate, professional service providers, medical practitioners, and eCommerce businesses by day, he is also a star and editor in chief of The Daily CPA, an online accounting and tax news publication. He also has a vested interest in the theater, taking advantage of his location and regularly attending different Broadway shows.
Register your class now to join Jeremias live as he shares his insights into the accounting profession and answers your students' submitted questions!
