Assistant Professor
Champlain College

For Nicole Morris, the “sky is the limit” when it comes to opportunities in the accounting profession. And she’s now landed the very opportunity she always wanted: teaching.
As a mom to three kids and Assistant Professor of Accounting, Nicole stays plenty busy. She loves her field, though, and still gets excited about the chance she has to mentor students on the beauty of a career in accounting and on life in general. When she’s not teaching, she spreads the word about the rewards of accounting as a volunteer on the State Board.
Nicole also loves the opportunities the career has brought her personally. “I was in public accounting with KPMG, then various corporate accounting positions,” she says. “And now I’ve achieved my goal of being an educator!”
In her spare time, you’ll find her hiking, skiing, playing on the beach or otherwise enjoying the outdoors. She also finds time to volunteer at her son’s school.
“You really can do anything with an accounting degree,” this busy mom points out. “The opportunities are truly endless.”
