Founding Partner
Anton Collins Mitchell LLP
Denver, CO

If you’re ever in Colorado, Greg Anton says, go ahead and look him up. But make sure you’re up to it – one of Greg’s favorite pastimes is racing younger colleagues down the Rocky mountains on skis, then back up the mountain on bicycles. And, he points out, he often beats them.

It’s true, coasting along serenely just isn’t this guy’s style. In July 2002, he founded the public accounting firm of Anton Collins Mitchell LLP, and currently serves as the Chairman of the American Institute of Public Accountants. Greg has a history of diving into complex business problems for his clients. In 2011-2012 Greg will also continue to address issues facing the profession in the same manner he approaches the mountainside, with passion and resolve.

It’s no cakewalk, and that’s just how he likes it. “CPAs play a crucial role in all businesses,” Greg says. “From the staff accountant to CEOs (many of whom started their careers as CPAs).”

So if you’re thinking of getting your CPA certification and heading up the mountain alongside people like Greg, he’s right there to welcome you. “Jobs are abundant,” he says, “And the pay and benefits are excellent.”

Better start pedaling.
