Adam Mueller

Adam Mueller spends a lot of time doing different things, from serving on his church’s coordinating council to changing diapers, from smelling the roses to horsing around. Adam says, “I really enjoy the different parts of my life and even more so when I can bring them all together.”

As a senior accountant for Wipfli, a large regional CPA firm based in Wisconsin, Adam’s work is often full of long hours and tight deadlines. “Client interaction is important for me,” Adam says, “so I am always talking to and traveling to see clients.” It’s rewarding work. “I get to see and learn from all different types of business,” he says. “Another great part of my job is helping clients figure out a better way to do things – that’s really satisfying.”

And then there are Adam’s pursuits outside of his career: his church, family, flowers and horses. Adam serves his church in multitude of ways and spends much of his free time with his wife and young daughter.

Adam also does all of the accounting for his wife’s floral design company, Inspired by Nature. Adam says “I’ve learned more about flowers than I ever thought I would!” Additionally, Adam has been involved with horses for more than eighteen years, showing them at events and sitting on various boards of directors and committees for regional and national Quarter Horse associations.

When asked what he wishes he knew back in high school, Adam says “don’t worry about the groups that form in high school. Cliques don’t define who you’ll be as an adult. Surround yourself with good people who can help you grow.” And maybe a few horses for good measure.
