Community College

Community colleges have become a smart alternative for a lot of high school grads lately. Did you know there's even a hit sitcom about it? The stale stereotype of it being just for underachievers who couldn't get into a better school is way outdated. In reality, it's an affordable and convenient first step toward many great careers, including becoming a CPA.

Big Things To Do

  • Learn about community college in your state
  • APPLY! You aren't guaranteed a spot
  • Visit
  • Apply for FAFSA, financial aid, and scholarships

Not as Big But Still Important Things to Do

  • Take ACT or SAT
  • Attend orientation
  • Talk with advisor within the business program
  • Get involved on campus (clubs, organizations, etc.)
